Time is Flying By

I honestly don't know where to start!!! I have become the queen of slackers when it comes to my blog this year. Maybe I could blame it on the pregnancy brain ;). Because much has happend and gone unrecorded I am just going to start fresh and begin from where I am as of this week. So far so good in the preggo department- the baby boy is doing WONDERFUL. I had my target appointment in January and the doctor said everything looked perfect- which is always comforting to hear. I am just barely over 6 months but its seems to be getting closer by the minute. I have to admit that I am a little nervous (okay kind of a lot nervous) to add another baby to the mix but I LOVE being a mom and feel that this second time around will be much less stressful. As far as my sweet little Beckham is concerned I just have to say that I LOVE this boy!!! What a joy it is being his mother and getting to be home with him everyday and experience all his personalities and quirks. He truly is a special kid. I personally think he is SO smart for his age. He never ceases to amaze me and always has me laughing. He is a happy happy little boy. I actually have a few funny stories that occurred just this week. I will start off with Monday.

Monday..I had just gotten out of the shower (I was literally in for 5 minutes or less) as I came around the corner to the kitchen area I could hear him out on the couch he was saying..Mmmmmm Mom Mmmmmm. I thought to myself in that minute I didn't give him any snacks. I headed out to see what he had placed in his bowl only to find out that he was munching on some of skittles dog food (YUCKY) I quickly grabbed it from him and with a HUGE smile on his face he kept saying Mmmm Mom Mmmm I could not help but laugh. From now on skittles dog bowl will have to be kept WAY out of Beckham's reach:).
Tuesday.. I set the wipes container in the middle of the living room floor and stated to Beckham that I was going to grab a diaper so we could get him changed and head out the door. A second later I returned with the diaper only to find a missing wipes container. I thought in that moment I was losing my mind- I looked all over the living room and could not find it anywhere. A few minutes later I heard Beckham shutting the door to his bedroom - I headed back and asked him if he knew where the wipes were - he just looked at me all innocent and told me no. I then began searching his bedroom and after a few minutes I found them shoved under the stairs of his slide at the very back of his room. The second I pulled the container from its hiding spot started running faster than I have seen him run in awhile :). This is why I tell you my child NEVER ceases to amaze me. I could not help but laugh. He hates having his diaper changed (looks like we may start potty training sooner than later afterall).
Soooo many funny stories I could tell you about Beck's he is the ABSOLUTE LOVE of Mine and Darren's life. We are grateful everyday to be blessed with his little spirit in our home.
As far as Darren is concerned things are coming along very well. He is just about to finish another semester of school at the U- We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel..YAY!! We (Beckham and I) are SO grateful for Dad and all he does for our little family. What a hard worker he is. He just found out he made the Dean's list for the U of U (We LOVE you dad and are so proud of you) The many sleepless nights will soon be coming to an end for Darren. With only 2 semesters remaining we are beginning to see all this hard work paying off and are SO excited to start a new chapter in our lives.
As you can see time has been flying by us.. I say this every time I blog but I truly hope to keep up at a more steady pace from here on out (keep your fingers crossed) :) I love you all. I feel so blessed to have such amazing family and friends. I feel blessed to be where I am at in life right now. D and I know we are and continue to be watched out for - we are grateful for the gospel and have no doubt in our minds that it has helped us achieve the many goals we have set and continue to set for our future family. LOVES!!! Bye Bye for now!!!
